Mucho Debian Developer, poca etica
No voy a ahondar mucho en el tema, pero en estos dias me di cuenta que cuando alguien es mala persona, no importa lo que haya hecho o lo que haga, sigue siendo una mala persona.
Tambien creo que las comunidades deberian activamente esforzarse por eliminar a gente como Margarita Manterola de su comunidad, y aislara, donde solo pueda perjudicarse a si misma.
Ojala prevalezca el sentido comun.

Te me adelantaste, aunque por otro motivo.
En cuanto se supo de la decisión de hacer la DebConf en Mar del Plata, me puse a disposición de M.M. en lo que necesitara, con el antecedente de haber sido el organizador del ICANN Meeting Mar del Plata.
Resultado: ninguneado.
Cuando se habilita la lista de correo, me presento en ella, y esto es lo que ocurre:

M.M. Más allá del ataque innecesario, ese tipo de cosas suceden o dejan de
suceder según la cantidad de plata que uno ponga.
Como se ve, si eso que digo es un ataque innecesario, no me extraña que la ocupación de una cama vacía sea vista como un crimen. Lo extraño es que no haya llamado a la gendarmería y solicitara que cuelguen al criminal de las pelotas en la Plaza Colón. Y esto es solo una muestra de un rosario de actitudes bastante agretas e inentendibles.
Tenganmé en cuenta para lo que vayan a hacer.

Making unfounded personal attacks against Margarita here and then abusing Google to try and make them public does not seem like a dignified thing to do. If you actually have any proof of wrongdoing on her part, then I ask you to produce it. If you do not have any, then please apologise immediately. If you can’t manage either of those, then it will be clear who is at fault here.

I have tons of proof, but I think it’s best for everyone to leave things as-is.
She screwed up, it makes no sense in going on about it. I expressed my thoughts based on facts, and rather invest my energy somewhere else.

It’s a little cowardly to make accusations here then back down when asked for proof. Please mail me so we can discuss this properly.
I’m pretty sure it’s much more cowardly to go behind someone’s back and do what Marga did.
I will email you though, and, if you insist enough, publish all the proof I have, and make the situation even worst for everyone involved.
After all, I did talk 3 times with the people at the hotel, received an email from Marga directly, and talked through IRC with other people involved, before putting together such a strong opinion…
I’d be happy to publish logs, emails, and rough transcripts of conversations, but I feel that at this point, it’s a waste of my time, and will only make things worst for the case you’re trying to make against my post.
